Club League Evaluations for NEW Club League Players

FOR NEW CLUB LEAGUE PLAYERS ONLY
Friday, Feb. 17 we will hold the mandatory player evaluations for new Club League players.

We will have make-up evaluations on Friday, Feb. 24.

WHO NEEDS TO ATTEND: If you did not play in the Club League fall 2011 season you need to attend.

LOCATION: Wakarusa Valley Elementary School. Park on the south side and enter through the southeast gym door, by the playground.

TIMES:

5:00 to 6:30 PM: 7, 8, 9 year olds, and 10 year olds who turned 10 on or after August 1, 2011.

6:30 to 8:00 PM: U12 and U14 players

EQUIPMENT: Wear indoor shoes, shin guards, and a white t-shirt. No need to bring a soccer ball to this event.

PURPOSE: This is an evaluation, not a tryout. The objective is to calibrate the training curriculum and to form balanced teams. We will do a brief warm-up and then play a scrimmage. We want to see you play the game.

From the main menu on the KVSA web site click "Programs/Levels Of Play/Club League". Check the calendar embedded on top of the Club League page for all the spring season events.

Want to Play College Soccer?

Players (ages 14-18), parents, and local high school coaches, please join representatives from Sporting KC and the University of Kansas to discuss the recruiting process and how to prepare your player for competition at the collegiate level. Creating player resumes and how to contact and communicate with collegiate coaches will also be covered.
