(To
register, choose the Recreation Program on registration form)
This is a parent-child soccer program for children 4 and 5 years old who are not yet in kindergarten. Experienced KVSA coaches
will guide parents and their Hobbits in one hour of skills training and 4v4 street soccer games. Parents play during the skills training (with help from KVSA staff).
Sessions are held at YSI Sport Complex (Wakarusa and 27th Street) on Saturdays during each recreational league game day scheduled from 11:00 till noon. Team
formation is currently ongoing and wil be completed soon.
All games starts at 11:00 am.
Please, check the KVSA website for game cancellations
due to inclement weather.
WHEN AND WHERE TO START? We ask all Hobbits (and their parents) to be present
on the first game day at YSI at 10:30 am to check in at FIELD 1. Please bring the medical release form (see online).
Hobbit players will receive a soccer shirt and soccer ball.
WHAT TO WEAR AND BRING? All Hobbit players should bring appropriate shoes
(soccer, tennis, or basketball shoes, no baseball or football shoes), shin guards covered by socks, shorts or long pants. For safety reasons, players cannot wear jewelry or
anything metal. Since parents participate in the skill exercises with their hobbits, please, come prepared in appropriate attire and also bring water for refreshments and
perhaps some after-game snacks (very popular).
No Registration Deadline and No Late Fee for Hobbits!
Please, check the Hobbits Handbook for Coaches and Parents for more
information on tne program.
I look forward to meeting all the Hobbits and their parents and wish you a fun soccer season. If you have any questions regarding
this program, please contact me.
